Download Ice Age - Dawn Of The Dinosaurs Movie

There is always a 'curse' hanging over a sequel. They are usually duds at the box-office. But Ice Age movie seems to have broken the tradition. The animation is awe inspiring and a plethora of new characters. Now the directors in Hollywood will be more enthusiastic to bring out other sequels too. Ice Age is primarily a flick for the kids but the adults can enjoy it too.

The original star cast is retained - Manny (Ray Romano), Diego (Denis Leary), Ellie (Queen Latifah) and the lovable Sid (John Leguizamo). The third edition creates a spring feeling with love blossoming all around. This is a departure from the earlier episode where snows, ice and glacial meltdowns formed the backdrop of the movie. We find Manny pre-occupied with Ellie who is expecting their first baby. Diego - the sharp toothed tiger and Sid - the bumbling sloth getting very upset about the developments. Both of them feel that Manny is ignoring them. A despondent Diego decides to leave and Sid plans to start his own family.

Sid is plagued by yet another problem. He is unable to find a she-sloth to reside with. He comes across three abandoned eggs and at once decides to raise them as his own oblivious of the fact that these eggs belonged to a mother T-Rex. The babies hatch from the eggs shortly and within hours they began to exhibit their carnivorous instincts. The mother arrives shortly and grabs Sid and the babies by the nape of their necks and takes them to an underground world. The place is inhabited by dinosaurs, man-eating plants and a weasel called Buck.

The sequences that follow are predictable. Manny and other others run to save Sid. They enter the underground world which looks like a primitive rainforest. I guess the animators have a whale of a time here. The screen is filled with vibrant colors, lots of cuddly creatures, one-liners etc apart from the familiar scenes of balancing rocks and snow slides from the earlier versions of Ice Age movie.

In case you are wondering, the film has not forgotten Scrat the squirrel who is all the more energized to run after the elusive acorn. But this time he has a rival! A female squirrel, scratte, offers a romantic angle to the quest.

The animation detailing in Ice Age 3 will leave you spell bound. The colors, the character profiling and the comic scenes are so well depicted that you will have a hard time to even go for a drink in the middle of the movie. The mammoth looks awesome on the screen but the animated dinosaurs made us fell disappointed. They look fake but we have decided to ignore this little glitch.

The best thing about the latest Ice Age is that the comedy and the actions scenes are beautifully done with loads of fun elements thrown in. Towards the end of the film have real hilarious moments. Aliens in the Attic movie, written by Mark Burton and Adam F. Goldberg is a complete family oriented movie set in Michigan but shot originally in New Zealand. It has two parts both with the same name. The digital effects are good, the cast athletic, adding a more believable angle to the action scenes. The characters are funny yet appealing. The story is revolves around aliens who invade the Earth.

The aliens are not mechanical in appearance and action. The story is written by Mark Burton and Adam F. Goldberg. Kevin Nealon and Gillian Vigman (parents) decide to take their family on fishing vacation to the lake house in Michigan. Their children are Carter Jenkins, Ashley Tisdale and Ashley Boettcher. Carter is brainy at everything except math. Ashley has a boy friend (Robert Hoffman) who is creepy and Ashley Boettcher is the adorable, youngest child.

The story begins with Kevin Nealon and Gillian Vigman (parents) deciding to go on a fishing vacation to their lake house in Michigan. Their children Carter Jenkins (who is a brainy child but fails in math), Ashley Tisdale (who has an annoying, creepy boyfriend Robert Hoffman) and Ashley Boettcher (whose role in the movie is to look adorable) accompany them on this trip. Joining them are their relatives, who form another family, which consists of the dad (Andy Richter) who is a beer drinker, a grandmother who is off centered (Doris Roberts), a male teen (Austin Butler) and a pair of identical twins (Henri and Regan Young).

A meteor shower hits the house's attic and leaves four tiny aliens behind in it, disrupting their vacation. The aliens want to destroy man-kind by turning adult humans in to robots that are remotely controlled. They accomplish this, by injecting the adults in the neck, then implanting a device through which the adults brain and movements can be remote controlled. The implant is ineffective on children so they are spared. It is now up to the children to protect the adults and to the save the world.

Robert Hoffman is one of the first adults to get implanted. His remote control finds its way in to the children's hands who take advantage of it to make Robert slap himself, dance, twist, jerk and flip his body and then cannonball himself in to many embarrassing situations. One of the most interesting scenes in the movie is a kung-fu style, full contact fight scene between Robert and Doris.

The Funny People movie, a comedy drama directed and written by Judd Apatow, was released in July in America this year. Adam Sandler plays the lead role. Though it is not a movie you'd like to watch with children because of its liberal dosage of sexually crude humour mixed with R rated language all throughout the movie, you'd enjoy it.

This movie is based on the life history of Judd Apatow. George Simmons (Adam Sandler) is a loner who is single permanently. He belongs to the upper level and has earned himself a fortune as a comedian. He is egoistical, abrupt, rude, friendless and lives alone by the Pacific in a huge mansion in Malibu. He is suffering from a blood disorder which is untreatable and has less than a year to live. When he learns about his disease he begins to withdraw from life gradually. When he comes across Ira.

Ira, the second important character, is a stand up, struggling, comedian who is still struggling to find his true stage persona. One night both Ira and George perform at the same club causing George to notice Ira and employ him as his semi-personal assistant. Ira gradually becomes George's friend, punching bag, joke writer and nurse. George establishes Ira in his Malibu house. He likes and dislikes Ira who is impressed by George and ready to do his bidding and please him in every way.

As time goes by, Ira convinces George to let his friends in on his illness. George declares that he is friendless. But, slowly faces from the past start appearing, (mostly old comedians), to hang out with him. The scenes change from the monotonous, depressing life of George to be replaced by scenes from his past which show a George who was fun loving and funny.

The past also shows us about how George fell in love with an actress called Laura who was his one true love and one true regret. His regret was because he had lost her. Laura gave up her career even before it could contribute to making her in to a full fledged star to settle down for a family life with another man (Eric Bana). There is an emotional tear jerking scene involving George and Laura. The character 'Laura' is acted out by Apatow's wife Leslie Mann. Laura's children's role is played by their daughter's in real-life.

Watch Free Charlie And The Chocolate Factory

Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory have been well adapted into a movie by the same name by the competent director Tim Burton. The movie is targeted towards the kids and the young adults but is well watched by the adults too. Freddie Highmore stars as Charlie Bucket while Johnny Depp is Willy Wonka in the movie.

Charlie had a difficult childhood as he lived in abject poverty with his parents and four grand parents who are all bed ridden. They love each other very much but find it difficult to meet their living due to want of finances. The town in which they lived had a chocolate factory owned by the eccentric Willy Wonka. One day Willy announced that he has hidden five golden tickets inside the Wonka bars. The five lucky ones would get to see the chocolate factory and how it works and one lucky winner is supposed to get a special prize.

Charlie was really lucky as he found the fifth ticket in one of the Wonka bars. He chose his Grandpa Joe to be with him inside the factory. Joe used to work with the factory before it hit rough weather. So the four winners, Charlie and Grandpa Joe enter the factory for the journey of a lifetime.

Charlie was pretty well behaved throughout the tour but the same cannot be said of the other children. They were very naughty and the inevitable happened. Those four were politely shown the door by Willy and Charlie became the winner of the surprise prize - they keys to the chocolate factory. Initially Charlie refused the prize as he was not in favor of staying separate from his family. Wonka too understood how he himself has missed his family while he was too busy with the chocolate factory. He understood that Charlie is the right person to take care of the chocolate factory. On realizing this he allowed Charlie to bring his entire family inside the premises. So we get a wonderful story with a very happy ending.

The film is a must watch for all children. They will simply love the colorful and youthful look of the film. The director Tim Burton does a wonderful job with this film but the 2005 editions definitely a bit darker than the original flick. The puppet show at the start of the tour of the factory suddenly catches fire. This scene is a bit unnecessary. Secondly, kids might get frightened by the scary music and the vivid scenes depicting the children's exploits inside the factory.

Among the performances, the less said about Johnny Depp the better. Is he the same Johnny from the Pirates of the Caribbean series? His acting so pathetic that you may be tempted to think that he was not paid at all for this movie! Freddie Highmore as Charlie Bucket, however, proves a better actor than Depp, at least in this movie.

The film has some scenes which might be unsuitable for children but overall it will be good fun on a Sunday for the kids. This guy called Jake Tyler played a vital role in making his high-school team win in a match; however, he is also the one who spoilt the festive mood of the winners by picking up a brawl with lost team. Jake now has his own following and offers to learn advanced fighting techniques. Baja invites him to a party that her boyfriend Ryan has thrown. Jake, despite declining an insult and a challenge first, gave in to his instincts to meet a miserable defeat. It was his time to get into the learning class.

Jakes tutor learns about the whole thing and agrees to teach him only if he stops fighting outside the ring. He stays indifferent to Ryan who insults him again, but takes out the heat in the ring and later, when poked by a few pranksters on the streets. It was videotaped and uploaded to Youtube, beside his former one that made him lose his position in the sports team at his previous school. But this time, it only turned Jakes social image better.

The movie revolves around how Jake deals with the different situations he has around him. By making him promise not to use his martial arts techniques outside the ring, Jakes mentor is only teaching him how to control his anger and temper and avoid getting into unnecessary brawls and street fights. While Jake thinks all hes learning is martial arts, sub consciously he is learning how to master his mind and emotions and build himself into an organized force capable of taking enemies down without getting emotionally involved like before. The movie also brings back memories of how easy it is to get provoked into fighting with someone, especially at school. Kids can be mean and negative, but fighting with them isnt the only way deal with it. The movie explores how Jake wins by controlling himself rather than giving in to emotional outbursts.
