Download The Ugly Truth Movie

By Clay Musk

After rampant promotions and advertising, the movie - The Ugly Truth was released. The movie has some strange logic that it has applied. The script was really weak and the logic was nothing but pathetic.

The logic was related to a woman finding the man of her dreams. Now according to this logic if you are a woman and you would like to find someone who maybe the one for you, you must first make sure that you are not a very successful person, you even be too smart, oh, and don't forget, you can't even be too stuck up with him.

To be able to get this man into your arms, you can't dare earn more than what he is managing at the moment and it's a complete no-no to be a little wiser than what he is. If you can manage it, a slutty attitude is a turn on to him and what does him in is the inner tramp that you will let loose.

After reading this far, if you are still trying to go watch the movie, you will find that theres is nothing to watch because you have read it all. The three ladies who have written this script still seem to be living in some lost age. Katherine Heigl went a step ahead. She is not only the actress of this movie but also a co producer.

Moving on further, Katherine portrays the role of Abby who is a show producer for the television. She is "forced" to contend with Mike (Gerard Butler) who is supposedly a male chauvinist. Mike gives relationship advice on one segment of Abby's show (sigh). Apparently he gives out some really horrid advice but still the ratings of the show are ever increasing thanks to him. The other obvious fact is that they "hate" each other. O please! How many times do we have to go through this hate-turns- into- sweet-love business?

In case you are trying to look for some extremely good chemistry between the two of the lead actrors. They have not been able to create a single flame in the entire movie. The performance was cold and dull. You will find that you will not want to hear Mike blabbering after a point because you just can't understand what he is saying. The movie is definitely not a comedy. - 30302
